Romans 8: 15 The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship.[f] And by him we cry, “Abba,[g] Father.”
Paul speaks about original sin by one man and redemption by another. Children of the spirit are free from the bonds of death. They are in relationship with God and Jesus. We are heirs to the kingdom.
I was drawn to the part about never living in fear again. That's one of the main benefits of my faith. I live with the confidence of a child of God.
Prayer: Lord, I am honored to live a life of faith, thanks to Your holy gift. I want to follow You more closely. I want to live free from doubt and fear. Fill me with Your spirit.
