Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
Paul explains faith. He cites many examples from the OT. He tells us that the faithful long for our heavenly homes. Because He knows our hearts, God has prepared a place like that for us. This world is not worthy of the faithful.
When we feel like we don't belong, this is what we need to remember. We are not intended for this world but for the one to come. We are hoping for that better place. We are sure of what others cannot see.
Prayer: Help me to remember that I am just a stranger here, Lord. Remind me that I am just preparing myself for my real home with you. Let me stay focused on the real prize. Guide my steps so that they lead to eternity with You.
