Romans 13: 10 Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
Paul is explaining how the law--specifically the Ten Commandments-- are reflected in our Christian love. If we truly seek our neighbor's best interest, we will also be following the law. As for the details, like what to eat or when to worship, do whatever lifts God up. Don't threaten someone else's faith through your actions, even if you are convinced that God is good with your interpretation of His laws in your case.
I understand Paul's position. If we are truly selfless in our daily lives, we fulfill God's laws. Jesus was constantly telling the Pharisees to stop sweating the small stuff. They lost focus on the big picture. They could not even see their Saviour standing in front of them, because they were looking for violations of the law.
Prayer: I will be mindful of the effect of my actions on my neighbors. I promise to consider their needs. I will act to improve their situations. My love will shine as a beacon to my Christian faith. Guide me to this end.
Amen
