Revelation 15:  and sang the song of God’s servant Moses and of the Lamb:
“Great and marvelous are your deeds,
    Lord God Almighty.
Just and true are your ways,
    King of the nations.[a]

These are the words of the 7 before the bowls are poured out.  Then all kinds of bad things happen to those left on Earth.  In the midst of the chaos of Revelation, a last word of praise....

I am wondering how Moses and the Lamb come together here.  I understand how Moses led his people out of Egypt, but he was a man, flawed by weaknesses.  Why not David? or Jeremiah? or Isaiah?  A prophet would seem to be a more natural fit.  Moses had his doubts; that is why he never made it into the Promised Land.  Okay, I searched it.  Moses represents the Law, and Jesus represents the New Covenant.  That makes sense.

Prayer:  I will add my own praise to You, O Lord.  Your actions are always true.  Your love is steadfast.  You can see the truth when we are wearing blinders.  Guide me, guide Your church, and guide the nations of the world to Your will.
Amen
