Psalm 66:
19 but God has surely listened
and has heard my prayer.
The Psalmist starts with "Shout for joy, all the Earth!" Then he details all the ways God has helped His people.
Today is the day of Sherri's PET scan. I am comforted by the verse b/c my prayers have been so focused, my faith so strong, and I know God has heard me. The hope we need will surely follow this test. Sherri is ready to fight the cancer, and the Lord will give us the hope we need for a good outcome.
Prayer: Lord, I am beseeching You again. Your daughter, Sherri, needs healing. I have faith that the results of today's test will bring her healing and hope.

ReplyDeleteTwo years later, I am still in awe of this response to prayer, and I chose the same verse today. Sherri continues to live in good health.
