Galatians 5: 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control

Paul continues his letter by comparing flesh and spiritual desires. The desires work against each other, according to Paul. He wants his church to focus on the fruits of the Spirit.

I am not always in 100% agreement with Paul's advice. If Christ says it, I will not question it, but Paul goes too far on occasion in my view of it. I can't find fault with his list of fruits of the Spirit, however. If only I could live up to these virtues!

Prayer: Lord, guide me to follow the Holy Spirit. Let the fruits of the Spirit be visible in my life. I want to express each of these in my daily life. Amen
