Mark 1: 45 Instead he went out and began to talk freely, spreading the news. As a result, Jesus could no longer enter a town openly but stayed outside in lonely places. Yet the people still came to him from everywhere.
So much happened in Mark 1. This is the final verse. Jesus has healed a leper, and he tells the man to show himself to the priest, but not to tell anyone else.
I am interested in this fame issue. Jesus can't just walk around with the people any more. He had to stay in "lonely places." How sad! This reminds me of the problem faced by famous people today. And the people found him, no matter where he stayed. We need to find him now just like those ancient people did.
Prayer: I need You and Your son. I don't always realize how much I need You. Come and heal me and all the others I pray for.
