Luke 13: 18. "It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his garden. It grew and became a tree, and the birds perched in its branches.”

Jesus is asked what faith is like. Besides this verse, he cites a woman who works yeast throughout a large quantity of dough. In the OT reading, the predictions are there about Jesus coming on the colt of a donkey. Faith is the basis of Christianity, even before Christ came to be with us.

I have been praying for the nonbelievers. We see some hope, our very own mustard seed, in recent comments by family members. I'm praying that the seeds take hold, and that a great new faith blossoms from the faithless ones.

Prayer: I am praying for those who have a mustard seed of faith. Please watch over them and nurture this small amount of faith until it grows into something that shines Your light on all Your people. Amen
