Lamentations 3: 25. The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him;

 First we hear about the hard times that the chosen people have suffered. Then we get a few verses about better times to come before more about suffering. Maybe the writer saw what needed to be done once it was too late.

 I do worry about the people today who don't seek spiritual guidance. They are so sure that they can satisfy every need they will ever have. I hope that they won't find themselves in the same situation as the people of Lamentations.

Prayer : I seek You, Lord. I know my best future is with You. I have heard Your voice, and I will follow. Amen
