James 4:  12 There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you—who are you to judge your neighbor?

We need to be reminded of this often.  It is so easy to judge others.  We want to justify our own actions, and others fall short of the standard we believe we uphold.

I am often guilty of this, and sometimes I share my judgments with others.  We laugh, and we bond over our condemnation of someone else.  It is wrong, and I know better, but I slide into temptation time and again.

Prayer:  Lord, stop me when I start my judgmental thinking.  Do not let it rise to the level of judgmental talking.  I know that only You are worthy to judge us.  I need humility and love to guide my path, not indignation.
Amen
