Luke 12: 25 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life?
Jesus illustrates the point about worry with his examples of birds and flowers. They thrive, and we admire their beauty, but they don't count like we do to God. We need to center our lives on Him, instead of focusing on our material needs.
I was awake in the night. Satan was filling my head with worries. I saw what I needed to do, and it involved removal of a source of worry. The Lord will provide, and I will receive what I ask for in Jesus's name.
Prayer: Lord, release me from worry about those I love. Guide me to You in prayer for them instead. You know our needs, and You will provide. I am blessed to live a life of faith in You.
