Acts 4: 20 " As for us, we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.”

Peter and John have been brought before the Sanhedrin. They want to know more about the healing of the lame man. They ask in whose name this was done. Peter tells them it was done in Jesus's name. They confer and tell them to stop saying that.  This is Peter and John's reply.

This is a powerful statement. No amount of threats will silence the true believers. Truth is more powerful than authority. The faith and actions of these early Christians should guide us two thousand years later.

Prayer:  I can't stop myself, Lord. I love to sing Your praises. I won't be silent if I think You are being misrepresented or ignored. Guide me to represent You well.
Amen
