Acts 2: 36 "Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.”
It's Pentecost. The disciples have been speaking in tongues, and some accused them of drunkenness. Peter tried to explain that they are full of the Spirit. Then the people are sad, thinking they have missed their chance of salvation. Peter tells them that they need only repent to join those who are saved.
Pentecost is the birthday of the church. I am sad when I think about the decline in our church. Many of our former members moved to other churches, but there are so many more who don't recognize the truth in Peter's words
Prayer: I pray for those who don't know the faith I was blessed with. I ask that You guide the faithful to grow our church. I want more of Your people to find the strength and comfort that only You can provide.
