Acts 22: 22 But God has helped me to this very day; so I stand here and testify to small and great alike. I am saying nothing beyond what the prophets and Moses said would happen—
Paul has asked to be taken to Caesar as a Roman citizen accused of a crime. He explains the story of his own conversion to Christianity. He says he is innocent of breaking any laws--Jewish or Roman. He is just telling the truth. The official says he could have been let go if only he hadn't insisted on seeing Caesar.
Paul and the disciples can't help themselves. Their faith is so strong that they can't stop talking about it. That's the fire that spread the church. That's the kind of faith strong enough to move mountains!
Prayer: Strengthen my faith, Lord. Help me to be a beacon to others as I represent You to them.
Amen
