Proverbs 31: 31. Honor her for all her hands have done and let her works bring her praise at the city gates
Solomon has been listing the traits of a good wife. She is not selfish or lazy. B/c of this, her family thrives.
I thought of all the great women I have known. The people of Bible times don't always give women much respect. But Solomon gets it.The good wife and mother plays an important role in the family success.
Prayer: Lord, help me to be the wife,mother and daughter You know that I can be. Let my actions be the ones which lift my family up.
