Acts 10:
34 Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism."

Peter has been called to the centurion's house.  The centurion was visited by an angel who told him how to find Peter.  Peter has the vision about the unclean animals.  That opens his eyes to the possibility that God does not exclude the Gentiles from the Message. Peter goes and tells everyone the Good News.  The Holy Spirit enters the people, and Peter speaks these words.  Then he tells them to be baptized.

In the wake of the outcry over a Super Bowl commercial where people sang "America the Beautiful" in their native tongues, this spoke to me.  We are all included in the invitation.  Why wouldn't we want others to enjoy the things we see as good?  God does not show favoritism.  Why should we?

Prayer:  Lord, I pray for your people the whole world over.  I want all of us to see that we are one human race.  Please break down the artificial boundaries which separate us.  Help to show us how to live in peace and love.
Amen
