2 Timothy 3: 15 and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus
Today was a hard choice....more kings killing and ignoring God's prophets and then Paul hating on women. So I chose this verse, where Paul speaks to Timothy's qualifications.
I am blessed to have been born into a Christian home, with a mother who was determined to pass her faith on to me. I tried to do the same for my kids, building a base through their contacts with church and church camp.
Prayer: Lord, I praise You for my Christian upbringing. This gave substance to Your gift of faith to me. I am able to draw upon the "faith of my fathers" (and mothers) as I grow in You. Halleluiah!
