Acts 17: 28 ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’[b] As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’[
Paul is moving around Greece. He has been a sent away from 2 places after the authorities were outraged by his teachings. Now he's in Athens. He has found a community of thinkers, and he is sharing the Good News with them.
This statement is the heart of our Christian lives. Everything is really about God in the end. If we don't have God, what is the point? I truly don't understand how people live without faith.
Prayer: I pray for Your people, God. I pray for their health, I pray for their souls, and I pray that they find You. Be with us, Lord. We need You, even when we aren't aware of the need.
