This is Paul talking to the church again. He wants them to understand that they are one body, all working together to glorify the Lord. He doesn't want any of them to feel alienated from the whole body of those who worship the same Lord.
I am sad today. Illness, strife, change, even death surround me. I can't find peace in my own home. It does comfort me that we are all in this together. Despite our differences, we ultimately belong to the one true Lord, and I will serve Him as best as I can.
Prayer: Lord, help me to be a better servant. Help me to see how I can be more effective in bringing peace into my home. Guide my words and actions to glorify You.

I'm sad a year later, for an entirely different reason. I have a recurring headache, and that is part of it. The election is another. I'm so unsure about our country and my place in it. Thankfully my home is good, so possibly God's message is intended for my interactions in the larger world.
