Revelation 5: 13. Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!”

John is telling about the scroll which God is holding. No one is worthy to open it until the Lamb steps up. The Lamb looks pathetic, but appearances are deceiving. The Lamb causes quite a commotion! The heavenly residents praise God and the Lamb.

Praise is the name of the game. God's will is about to be done, and it won't be pretty. But for now, let's take some time for praise. The most honorable, the most glorious inhabitants of the universe stand before all the heavenly creation. What could be more fitting than a time for joyous praise?

Prayer: Lord, I, too, join in singing Your praises. You have been there for me so many times. I know that You will always be there when I call out to You. And Your son, the Lamb, gave everything for my salvation! Praise be to God! Amen
