Ezekiel 34: 26 I will make them and the places surrounding my hill a blessing.[a] I will send down showers in season; there will be showers of blessing.
It is poetry.... "showers of blessings." I am awake again when I should be sleeping. I hurt all over. The showers outside don't feel like blessings.
I need to rest. I will pray for the blessings of that.
Prayer: Lord, I need your blessing to help me cope with the brokedown palace of my body. Please guide me towards the blessed rest I need, so that I have the endurance to do Your will in the day to come.

A year later, and I wake too early to more showers. I'm grateful not to be hurting like last year, and I feel blessed to have a new start in my career. I almost chose this verse again today!
